Brad Childs

Owner

Brad Childs, owner of Southern Services, is a highly experienced general contractor holding an Unlimited Residential and Commercial General Contractor License in South Carolina. He is also NASCLA accredited in multiple states, including AL, AR, AZ, GA, LA, MS, NV, NC, OR, TN, UT, the U.S. Virgin Islands, VA, and WV.


With more than 30 years of experience building, managing, maintaining, and remodeling properties, Brad brings a wealth of hands-on expertise to every project. His work has earned notable recognition, including the 2004 Residential Renovation of the Year in Greenville, SC, for transforming a severely fire-damaged home into a stunning showpiece in the heart of downtown.

In addition to his construction credentials, Brad is a licensed real estate broker in both South Carolina and North Carolina, giving him a comprehensive perspective on property value, design, and long-term planning.

Rickey Hicks

Rickey Hicks is an accomplished Unlimited General Contractor with a strong academic and professional foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia State University. Rickey is licensed through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation as an Unlimited General Contractor, bringing both technical expertise and business insight to every project he oversees. His background positions him to deliver efficient, high-quality construction solutions with a focus on precision, organization, and client satisfaction.
